Alabama Snake
Main title sequence, chapter cards, and end credits for the HBO original documentary Alabama Snake.
ALABAMA SNAKE, directed by award-winning filmmaker Theo Love (“The Legend of Cocaine Island”) explores the mystifying events leading up to October 4, 1991, when an unusual violent crime was reported in the otherwise sleepy town of Scottsboro, Alabama. Darlene Summerford had accused her husband, Pentecostal preacher Glenn Summerford, of forcing her hand into a rattlesnake bed in an attempt to kill her. A case that remains shrouded in mystery to this day, ALABAMA SNAKE paints a chilling Southern Gothic portrait of a man whose demons have haunted his family and their community for decades.

Analogue character generator, compact VHS and VCR.
Why use a font when you can make text with a vintage JVC character generator?
Ted Morin helped me understand stenography and translated our text so that I could design and build the end credit sequence accurately.
End credits.
My role included 2D animation (and analogue text transfers) for the opening credits, ending credits, as well as chapter markers throughout the film.
